Dar es Salaam takes essentially all of our Tanzanian volume, with sea transit of 30–40 days. Farms around Dar, Morogoro and Arusha collect from there; Arusha adds a substantial road leg.

The same port serves the Central Corridor into Zambia and eastern DRC, which means transporters are plentiful and inland rates are more competitive than on some routes.

Tanzania operates a pre-export verification scheme through TBS. The conformity certificate is issued before shipment, and we arrange the factory inspection alongside production so it does not delay loading.

Coastal humidity is unforgiving

Dar and the coastal belt are humid year round. Hot-dip galvanising after welding is not a specification detail here — it is the difference between fifteen years of service and five.

Many first-time commercial buyers

A large share of Tanzanian enquiries come from farmers moving up from free-range or small deep-litter units. A-type at 5,000–8,000 birds, with rearing cages in the same container, is the usual first step.

Heat management from day one

Below the highlands, plan cooling into the house rather than adding it later. Retrofitting tunnel ventilation into a finished building always costs more than building for it.

How is the equipment protected in transit?

Cages ship knocked down, bundled and wrapped, with fasteners boxed and labelled to the assembly drawing. Fumigation certificate is issued at loading.
