Figures are typical for a healthy commercial brown layer flock in a tropical climate and will move with breed, feed quality and management. Use them to plan, not to budget to the last unit.
Planning
A 60 × 8 m house needs about 0.4 acres on its own. Add the egg packing room, feed store, manure pad and a buffer from the boundary and one acre is comfortable. Leave room on one side — almost everyone who starts at 10,000 builds a second house within three years.
Around 8 kW at peak. Where grid supply is unreliable, size the generator to carry the feeding and manure motors at minimum; egg collection can wait an hour, feed cannot.
Two to two and a half cubic metres a day, so an overhead tank with at least a day of buffer. Filtration matters — nipple drinkers block on sediment faster than farmers expect.
You build the shed locally; we supply everything inside it. We send the foundation and column layout with the CAD drawing so your contractor pours to the right positions the first time.
